  • You are authorised to act for any individual, business or organisation on whose behalf you submit a request.

Where you are acting for a company, business or other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to request the relevant services and provide instructions on its behalf.

Where a request concerns a minor or another person who cannot independently provide valid instructions, the request must be made by an appropriately authorised parent, guardian or legal representative.

We may request additional information to confirm your identity, authority or eligibility for a particular service.

4. ACCOUNTS AND THE CLIENT PORTAL

Taxify may provide access to an online Client Portal through which you can:

  • Create and manage your account.

  • Request available services.

  • Submit required information and documents.

  • Review quotations and payment information.

  • Track service request progress.

  • Receive requests for additional information.

  • Access documents and completed service records.

  • Receive relevant notifications.

  • Communicate with Taxify’s service team or assigned Account Manager.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities carried out through your account.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

You must not impersonate another person, share access without permission or attempt to access another Client’s information.

4.1 Businesses and Entities

Where a service requires information about a business or organisation, you may be asked to provide the relevant entity details.

Adding a business or organisation to your profile is optional unless it is necessary for the particular service requested.

Individuals may request personal services without first creating or linking a business profile.

You remain responsible for ensuring that the information associated with any business or organisation you add is accurate and that you are authorised to manage it.

5. SERVICE REQUESTS AND ENGAGEMENT

Submitting a service request allows Taxify to understand your requirements and determine the appropriate next steps.

A submitted enquiry or service request does not automatically mean that Taxify has accepted the engagement or commenced work.

Depending on the service, our engagement process may involve:

  1. Receiving your request.

  2. Reviewing the information and documents provided.

  3. Identifying the applicable requirements.

  4. Providing a quotation or service proposal.

  5. Obtaining your acceptance and any required payment.

  6. Confirming the engagement.

  7. Coordinating the service and keeping you informed.

  8. Providing the available completion documents or updates.

Some services may require additional authorisations, declarations, supporting documents or approvals before work can proceed.

The specific service engagement, including its scope, deliverables, fees and applicable conditions, will be communicated to you through the relevant quotation, service confirmation or written agreement.

6. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to:

  • Provide true, accurate, current and complete information.

  • Submit authentic documents and supporting evidence.

  • Respond promptly to requests for clarification or additional documentation.

  • Ensure that the information you provide is consistent with relevant official records.

  • Review documents prepared for your approval before submission, where requested.

  • Obtain any necessary internal approvals, authorisations or consents.

  • Make applicable payments when due.

  • Cooperate with Taxify and relevant service providers during the engagement.

  • Notify Taxify promptly of any material change that may affect your request.

You must not knowingly provide false information, forged documents, misleading declarations or inaccurate instructions.

Taxify may pause a service where the information supplied is incomplete, inconsistent, unverifiable or reasonably suspected to be unlawful.

Where additional information or corrections are required, we will communicate the issue and the next steps to you.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of information originating from you or persons acting on your behalf. This does not remove Taxify’s responsibility to exercise reasonable care and skill when performing its agreed services.

7. SERVICE FEES, QUOTATIONS AND STATUTORY CHARGES

The fees payable for a service will be communicated through the applicable quotation, service description or written engagement.

Depending on the nature of the service, the total amount may include:

  • Taxify’s professional, administrative or service coordination fee.

  • Government and regulatory statutory charges.

  • Filing, registration or application fees.

  • Third-party service provider charges.

  • Other disclosed expenses directly related to the requested service.

  • Applicable taxes, where required by law.

Where practical, applicable charges will be identified separately so you can understand the amounts payable and their purpose.

Government and regulatory fees are determined by the relevant authorities and may change independently of Taxify.

A quotation will state its applicable validity period, payment requirements and any material assumptions where relevant.

Where an authority changes its fees or a material additional requirement arises after a quotation has been issued, Taxify will communicate the resulting change and seek your approval before proceeding with additional charges.

A service will not be represented as free of statutory charges merely because Taxify has waived or reduced its own service fee.

You are responsible for paying the charges expressly identified in the accepted quotation or engagement.

8. PAYMENTS AND PAYMENT CONFIRMATION

Payments must be made through the payment channels or instructions officially provided by Taxify.

These may include bank transfers, assigned virtual accounts and supported electronic checkout services.

You must ensure that the payment amount, reference and beneficiary details are correct.

A payment instruction, transfer receipt or screenshot alone does not necessarily establish that payment has been received and verified.

Payment confirmation is subject to verification through the relevant payment provider or financial institution.

Where a payment cannot be matched or verified, Taxify may request additional information to reconcile it.

8.1 Commencement of Work

Where advance payment is required, work will ordinarily commence after the required payment has been verified and the necessary documents and instructions have been received.

The applicable quotation or service engagement may specify a different payment arrangement.

8.2 Payment Records

Taxify may provide payment confirmations, transaction records, receipts or other relevant documentation for payments made in connection with a service.

You should retain your payment records and contact us promptly if you identify a duplicate, incorrect or unrecognised transaction.

9. SERVICE DELIVERY AND PROCESSING TIMES

Taxify aims to provide its services with reasonable care, skill and attention to the agreed scope and applicable timelines.

Processing times may depend on:

  • The type of service requested.

  • The completeness and accuracy of your information.

  • Verification requirements.

  • Payment confirmation.

  • Government or regulatory processing.

  • The availability of third-party service providers.

  • Additional requirements or supporting documents.

  • Technical or operational circumstances affecting the relevant institution.

Any processing period communicated by Taxify is an estimate unless a specific completion commitment has been expressly agreed in writing.

For example, CAC-related processing may require a minimum of five working days in applicable circumstances, subject to the completeness of your submission and CAC processing and approval.

Taxify does not control the internal processing times, decisions or operational schedules of independent government agencies and other institutions.

Where we become aware of a material delay affecting your service, we will endeavour to provide an appropriate update.

You remain responsible for any statutory deadlines or obligations that have not been expressly accepted by Taxify as part of a specific written service engagement.

10. GOVERNMENT AUTHORITIES AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

Many services offered through Taxify involve independent government authorities, regulatory institutions, financial institutions, professional providers or other third parties.

Depending on the service, these may include:

  • Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

  • Federal and State tax authorities.

  • National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).

  • Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC).

  • Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML).

  • Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

  • Pension and industrial training institutions.

  • Banks and payment processors.

  • Other relevant government, professional or institutional service providers.

Taxify is an independent service provider and is not a government agency, regulator or statutory authority.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Taxify is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised to speak on behalf of these institutions.

Taxify may coordinate the preparation, verification, submission or management of information and documentation where you have authorised the relevant activity and the required conditions have been satisfied.

The relevant authority or institution remains responsible for its own decisions, approvals, requirements and official records.

Taxify cannot guarantee that an application, filing, registration, certificate, licence or other request will be approved or issued.

However, we remain responsible for carrying out the tasks we have expressly accepted with reasonable care and skill.

11. DOCUMENTS, RECORDS AND DELIVERABLES

Documents submitted by you remain yours or belong to their respective lawful owners.

You grant Taxify permission to access, process, organise, use and submit those documents to the extent reasonably necessary to provide the services you request and in accordance with applicable law.

Taxify may prepare, review, organise or coordinate documents as part of an accepted service engagement.

Where a document requires your approval, declaration, signature or confirmation, you are responsible for reviewing it and providing the required approval before submission.

Completed documents may be made available through your Client Portal, email or another agreed delivery channel.

You should review completed documents carefully and notify us promptly of any apparent error or discrepancy.

Taxify may retain appropriate records of service requests, instructions, payments and completed work for legitimate operational, legal, regulatory and record-keeping purposes.

Document access and retention are also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. ACCOUNT MANAGER AND CLIENT SUPPORT

For eligible service engagements, particularly after verified payment where an Account Manager is included in the service arrangement, Taxify may assign an Account Manager to coordinate your relationship and service request.

Your Account Manager may:

  • Serve as your primary point of contact.

  • Coordinate service requirements.

  • Request additional documents or clarification.

  • Communicate progress and relevant updates.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and authorised service providers.

  • Assist with service completion and document delivery.

The appointment of an Account Manager does not change the scope of the agreed service or remove your responsibility to provide accurate information and timely instructions.

Where an Account Manager is not assigned, you may communicate through the official Taxify support channels.

13. CANCELLATIONS, WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS

You may request cancellation or withdrawal of a service request by contacting Taxify through our official communication channels.

Refund eligibility will depend on the stage of the engagement, the work already performed, the nature of the service and any statutory or third-party charges already incurred.

13.1 Cancellation Before Work Commences

Where you cancel before Taxify has commenced substantive work, we will assess the amount refundable.

Any deduction must be based on charges that are lawful, reasonably incurred and properly disclosed or otherwise recoverable under applicable law.

13.2 Cancellation After Work Commences

Where work has commenced, any refund will take into account the work performed, the portion of the service that remains unperformed and any properly incurred third-party or statutory expenses that cannot reasonably be recovered.

13.3 Third-Party and Statutory Payments

Amounts already paid to government authorities or third-party providers may be subject to their independent refund procedures.

Where an amount is recoverable, Taxify will take reasonable steps to coordinate the relevant refund process.

13.4 Service Not Delivered

Where Taxify is unable to provide an accepted service or materially fails to perform the agreed scope, we will assess appropriate remedies, which may include correcting the issue, completing the outstanding service, providing a suitable alternative with your agreement or issuing an appropriate refund.

13.5 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment channel or another mutually agreed method, subject to applicable payment provider procedures.

Nothing in this section removes or restricts any cancellation, refund or consumer right that you have under applicable Nigerian law.

14. PROHIBITED USE

You must not use Taxify to:

  • Submit forged or fraudulent documents.

  • Make false declarations to government authorities.

  • Facilitate money laundering, fraud, corruption or other unlawful activity.

  • Impersonate another person or organisation.

  • Access another Client’s account or information without authorisation.

  • Interfere with the security or operation of our systems.

  • Introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access or exploit platform vulnerabilities.

  • Misrepresent your relationship with Taxify.

  • Use the platform to violate another person’s legal rights.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including pausing or refusing a service where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

Where required, we may report suspected unlawful activities to the appropriate authorities.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Taxify website, Client Portal, software, branding, design elements, content, logos, graphics and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to Taxify Solutions Technology Limited or their respective rights holders.

You may access and use these materials for their intended purposes in connection with the services.

You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, reverse engineer or modify protected platform materials without appropriate authorisation, except where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your personal records, business documents or other materials that you lawfully own.

Any specific intellectual property work prepared or obtained for you will be governed by the relevant service engagement and applicable law.

16. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA

Taxify may process personal information, identity documents, business records, tax information and other supporting information where necessary to provide your requested services.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, applicable data protection requirement
